They made fun of me today. They always do. It's not fair. Just because I was invited for brunch. Not just brunch brunch, but *Posh Voice* "Brunch". So I woke up relatively early considering it was a Bank Holiday today and made breakfast for the fellow family peoples. Had a taste of the scrambled eggs considering my *Posh Voice* "Brunch" was to be at 1pm. Well I haven't been for brunch for about 20 years; the last time was at a rather luxurious hotel not far from Disneyworld in Florida. Memories: that was the first time I can recall having American pancakes loaded with maple syrup and icing sugar and some yummy creamy looking thing which I haven't had since *weeps* And so today, knowing that I had been invited for a *Posh Voice* "Brunch" I was all excited...visions of pancakes and maple syrup, french toast, tea in fine bone china cups left me mouthwateringly hungry. Oh, and of course, I was looking forward to the company :P I wassssssss...why don't you believe me!? So hmm I arrived promptly at 1pm *I'm never late for food* and we ate shortly after. Yumm. A tomato and cheese ciabatta, salad, and a pasta bake. I think I prefer brunches the American style :P Oh! The conversation was good and I enjoyed the company. Alhamdulillah :)
