Sunday afternoon. Overcast, slight breeze. Over three hours of gardening this morning. All my poppies and nigella are gone, seedheads saved, to be dried and prepared for planting again next year, inshaAllah. I'm left with the oh so traditional roses again, some sunflowers and a nice spread of the mystery flowers that seem to grow late summer every summer. Borders cleared of weeds, lawn mowed. But my back aches. I need to be stretched backwards. Any volunteers?

Went to see Catwoman last night. Halle Berry. Hmm. Pfft. There are DEFINITELY better things that I could have done in the 3.5 hours I spent to, at and from the cinema. Best bit? Arabian Nights (www. lush.com) infuse my hair while the family ask what time we shall be leaving. 3:30 I say (20 minutes).
