Good Friday ... ahem ... Jum'ah Mubarak! I'm at work today, on this national holiday, earning some mega bucks *not*. Was just discussing all this Easter business with my 'religious' catholic colleague; we're trying to work out what the Easter Egg blah is all about ... come to think of it, what's with the delish yellow buttercream icing chick cupcakes in the bakery? I'm already struggling to lose weight! And what about the cutest lil' fluffy yellow chick cuddly toys? The list goes on. From where I sit, in the cold dispensary, amidst a sea of artificial fluorescent lighting, it seems as if an ordinary day in this capitalistic world is about to unfold. Mothers shopping with children for their 'Oh so essential' jelly babies and that football shirt for little Jack, no doubt in preparation for some big match at the weekend. An Austrian woman (known to be a regular fusspot) requiring the PUREST vitamin E and PUREST vitamin C, of the highest strength, free of preservatives or anything else unnatural. I say, have a couple of oranges and few almonds for your breakfast: now that's the most natural way to obtain your micro-nutrients. So, really, what is Easter all about? *rhetoric* Jum'ah Mubarak
