Assalaam u alaykum

As I sit here in my little 'office', I see a huge gold bunny in front of me. He must be at least a foot tall, sporting a red ribbon with a gold bell around his neck. Thank you, Lindt! The poor bunny has been there since Thursday actually. I think he's subconsciously waiting for his zabiha, but we don't feel like taking that big step and setting him free, yet!

A little closer to me sit the choccie lollipops. Green, pink, yellow & lilac foil surround the milk choccies...yumm

Yoga Pilates. I had my first experience on Thursday last week. No one wanted to come with me so I had to go on my own. Yes, I know, I'm a bit of a scaredy cat; I don't really like going to gyms etc on my own. Well, anyway, there I was, having paid my entrance fee to the Leisure Centre & waiting for the class in session to end. Whilst in the queue, a young lady handed out printouts of an email criticising the governments proposed ban on vitamins & other health supplements that have no scientific proof to support their claims. A scientist would certainly welcome such a move, knowing that there is a plethora of 'health food supplements' on the market, all supposedly having some beneficial effect. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for micro-nutrients. What I don't agree with are the unproven claims that so many 'health food companies' seem to purport. Bring in regulation if you ask me. Anywayyyyyy I am diverting...I threw the paper away when I arrived home but still had to listen to the various opinions aired by the pilaters. As for the experience itself ... I so wish I had known about the class earlier on. And I so wish I didn't have to work alternate Thursday evenings. I'm really looking forward to the next class inshaAllah. :D

Tired now, had a busy day, may be back later.

Peace.
